Enza Home Design Team's Astoria Table Lamp: A Fusion of Functionality and Aesthetics

The Astoria Table Lamp stands out with its innovative design, integrating MDF, glass, and brass. The lamp is not just a source of light; it is also a functional tool with a USB charging input feature on its bottom plate and a touch on-and-off function. The notches created for easy processing of wood, the light refractions provided by the wavy form of glass, and the luminous effect offered by metal, all contribute to the product's value.

The lamp is produced using CNC engraved MDF lighting base with a USB charging port. The glass diffuser part of the product, designed to prevent eye glare, is held by gold closure metal parts. The integrated LED light source has 5W light power and 3000K Color Temperature. The product is touch-controlled and can be dimmed.

The Astoria Table Lamp is not just a lighting fixture; it is an interactive design that can be dimmed to adjust the desired light level in line with the ambient light and user request. Its multi-functional structure solves many functions in a fixed area and prevents cable clutter.

The design of the project started in January 2018, and the first prototype was made in June 2018. Three prototypes were exhibited at a fair in November 2018, and the product went on sale in April 2019. The Astoria Table Lamp is a technological product, the only product in the lighting portfolio with a touch on/off feature with USB input, offering a new discourse for the brand in the lighting portfolio.

The Astoria Table Lamp has been recognized for its innovative design, winning the Silver A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award in 2021. The award is given to top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that illustrate outstanding expertise and innovation.
